Picturing the World

Picturing the World is a resource book for teachers which introduces a range of ideas for making creative use of photography within the Geography curriculum at Key Stage 3. Produced to celebrate the first three years of Colliers Green Focus, it shows how photography can be a useful tool in engaging with key concepts in Geography, especially during field-work.

Project ideas include:

  • Discovering a Sense of Place Through Photography: The Colliers Green Focus Project
  • Exploring Change in the Local Environment Using Photography Archives
  • Faces vs. Places

Picturing the World is available free of charge to secondary geography teachers. Contact Hatice Ertepinar to request a copy.
